Hamilton Manor Wedding | Kristen + Garret | Hamilton, NJ Wedding

Kristen and Garret met online and immediately connected. They both love spending time at the beach, going to brunch, and football Sundays. They are both super family oriented and have two fur babies of their own. They got engaged at the beach on Long Beach island that they frequent often, and he surprised her with having her family waiting at a beautiful waterfront restaurant.

I knew Garret was a romantic from the start and Kristen’s love for her man shined from the start.  Their wedding was held at the beautiful Hamilton Manor in the barn.  While it did rain that day, we got plenty of opportunities to capture their love and illustrate the magic the two of them share.  Cheers to many years of happiness.

Grand Cascades Lodge Wedding | Megan and Timothy | Vernon, NJ

Megan and Tim have such a vibrancy about them, that I knew their wedding was going to be very special.  Everything was slated to be at the beautiful Grand Cascades Lodge in Vernon on a beautiful autumn Sunday.  The weather could not have been better and the photos we got on the rolling hills of the golf course were so incredible.  Sometimes, as a photographer, you end up in situations and snapping away photos when everything is ideal - and an inner giddiness just takes a complete hold on you.  This was one of those times. I was just taking endless pictures and in my head I was screaming YES YES!!!! It’s those moments that make me love what I do so very much.

We planned out several shots and looks we wanted to make sure we got and we had such a blast making photos.  The backdrop and the company were just amazing. Many years of happiness to you both!

Mountain Creek Wedding | Rebecca + Jay | NJ Wedding Photography

I knew Rebecca and Jay’s wedding was going to be a special one from the start.  I have known the groom, Jay, since we were kids - like really little kids.  We spent almost everyday playing in a park by my house with other neighborhood kids and getting in a little trouble along the way.

As high school and college came, we drifted apart - that’s what life does to childhood friends - but we kept in touch every now and again.  I was so humbled and elated when Jay reached out to me about doing photography for their wedding.

I’ve always known Jay to be the adventurous type, and the wedding he and Rebecca picked for themselves was true to that fashion.  “We are getting married at Mountain Creek… At the top of the mountain - All the guests will be taking the ski lift up to the ceremony site,” he told me.  “Of course you are… Of course they will.” I thought.  It was perfect, and I’m not going to lie, I was so excited for that ski lift ride.

We did a pretty impromptu engagement shoot about a month before the wedding.  I wanted them to have a little practice being in front of the camera and I honestly just wanted to catch up.  I had met Rebecca at our initial consultation, but I really got to know her at the engagement shoot.  She is kind and damn is she funny.  The two play well off each other and the relationship just works.  They made love look easy.

The week before the big day was set to arrive, I got word that Jay’s mom had passed away.  I knew her growing up as well.  She took me on my very first trip to the beach to go swimming at Sandy Hook.  She was kind and nurturing, as a mother should be, and she also loved a good time.  Jay knew his mom would have wanted him to go on with the wedding and enjoy every second of it… They did.

The wedding came and flowed organically and beautifully.  They exchanged beautiful vows on top of the mountain over looking the Vernon Valley.  You could not ask for a better day, weather-wise or people-wise.  I will always remember this wedding and I will always remember that childhood friendship.  So thankful to be a part of such an incredible union.  Thank you thank you thank you.

The Rockleigh Wedding | Janelle and Chris | Rockleigh, NJ

When I met Janelle and Chris, we planned to meet up in Hoboken for a drink to discuss some of the details and the timeline for the day.  We ended up talking for a few hours, and most of NOT about their wedding.  They are caring and down to earth and it was so apparent the love they felt for each other was strong and beautiful.

Their wedding echoed their personalities.  It was classic and elegant but personal and unique.  They had touches of tradition infused with bits of who they are sprinkled throughout their day.

Prep started at The Time in Nyack, NY - a very cool boutique hotel right by the Tappan Zee Bridge.  The style of the rooms perfectly fit the aesthetic the rest of the day carried.  From there it was right to the Rockleigh for first look by the stairs and formals on the grounds.  It was a bit rainy,  but we were still able to get outside by the fountains and totally took advantage of the mist for a night shot.

So humbled to have been able to shoot such an awesome day with an incredible couple.  Many many years of health happiness and love to Janelle and Chris.

The Terrace at Biagios Wedding Photography | Nicole + Shaun | Paramus NJ

Associate shooting by the one and only Jason Langley.  Second Camera - Michael Ramos

I've know Shaun since I was in grade school and even photographed his sister's wedding.  When he approached me about doing his wedding, I was so upset I had a prior event booked.  I knew Jason would be the right guy for the job.  Jason and I have been shooting together for the past 5 years and I trust him with any wedding I have - he hit a home run with for my buddy Shaun and his beautiful bride.  Wishing you a lifetime of happiness.

Orange Lawn Tennis Club Wedding | Laura + Nick | West Orange, NJ

Laura and Nick have these infectious kinds of personalities that just make you want to be happy around them.  We love how they incorporated their college into the wedding- It was a truly emotional day with wonderful people.  Here's a bit of their story.. which is just beginning.

"We first met at Seton Hall University where we became friends and business school classmates. After a school trip to Greece our sophomore year, we quickly became more than friends and then began dating soon after. For almost 5 years we dated while doing long-distance. Nick stayed in Harrisburg, PA while Laura went from New Jersey to Maryland and eventually back to PA. Our engagement was a long time coming as we had been dating for almost 7 years at the time.  On a trip to San Francisco in March 2017, Nick got down on one knee early one morning and popped the question as we overlooked the Golden Gate Bridge.

For our wedding, we knew we wanted to get married at the place we met, and then have an awesome party dancing the night away with our closest friends and family.  Every moment of our day was more perfect than we could have imagined.  Each moment and all the joy truly reflected the love we have for each other and our friends/family. It was a truly unforgettable day."

Il Villagio Wedding, Carlstadt, NJ | Teresa + Gino | Wedding Phototography

Teresa and Gino have a chemistry that is infectious.  If you speak with Gino for just a few minutes, its completely obvious how much he loves his new bride.  The two of them had a beautiful spring wedding at Assumption Church in Wood-Ridge, followed by a relaxing afternoon of photos in Memorial Park, Nutley.  After photos and some much needed partying on the bus, the night got started at Il Villaggio- an amazing Italian restaurant and venue in Carlstadt, NJ.  So blessed to meet these two families and be a part of such an awesome day.  Much love to you both.

Leigh + Nick | David's Country Inn | Hackettstown, NJ | Wedding Photography

I first met Leigh and Nick at their engagement shoot in Hoboken.  They were so down to walk around to multiple locations and take in the beautiful day.  What I remember most about them is how much they smiled and laughed with each other.  This made my job entirely too easy.  I was so excited for their wedding day this past April.

The wedding was at the beautiful David's Country Inn in Hackettstown.  This venue has tons of character and rustic charm.  The bridal party got dressed on the third floor in the respective suites.  Leigh's bridesmaids didn't hesitate to kick the guys out of their suite so we could get some photos where the light was nicer (Thanks girls)!  Their first look was touching and sweet - Filled with laughter and smiles just like the engagement shoot nearly a year earlier.  Such a pleasure to meet and work this couple.  Many many years of health and happiness!  Cheers.
